Here’s our story…

April 16th, 2010 — We purchased a License to sell and distribute the "My Shopping Genie" apps after receiving an inside tip that there would be some big changes in the My Shopping Genie industry (very soon). Since we have a good relationship with the source (thus trusted them), we didn't even bother to Google the term "My Shopping Genie Scam," or "My Shopping Genie Review," to see what lurked online…

It wasn't until 10 days later (April 26th) that we decided to complete our thorough due diligence. In this article and throughout this blog, you will discover a behind the scenes look into the My Shopping Genie App business (through the eyes of a distributor).

Is My Shopping Genie a Scam?

  • Nothing substantial and totally off base in a lot of their claims. Hey did you notice all the google advertising (Adsense) there…? That’s because the guy that is opperating this site is using the classic PPC theme to get clicks.

  • Weird! I followed some links from here and it appears there’s actually advertisements for these guys down the line.. Didn’t see any specifics, any proof, or really anything but "bad mouthing". My final synapses is a whistle blower looking for attention..

  • Nothing bad about the genie… They are using it as a traffic generator to sell more clicks. Kinda like My Shopping Genie Distributors and us with this website

  • Didn't say anything bad; the author just wanted to see affiliate commissions from Ebay – issue resolved and now you can get more than just e-bay now.

Here’s a few reason why we are learning towards "My Shopping Genie" NOT being a Scam…

The parent company My Net Universe has been in business since 2007. Most businesses fail within 3 years and almost all illegitimate business never make it past the 3 year mark. (Looking good so far)

When researching old forum threads, we found that most of the My Shopping Genie affiliate links are still active. This tells us that the distributors are sticking around which is a good indication that they are making money with their shopping genie business. (Another PLUS in our book)

We simply don't think that people would put that much effort into a product to just take others hard earned money and run. This technology has been around for quite a while in an inferior form, but only with recent changes in converging trends, new technology and proper positioning, we can all hope to capitalize.
