We haven't done anything for our business so our business stopped growing. This is usually the point at which people cry SCAM!

Something I learned a long time ago was that every time you point a finger there's three pointed right back at you.

If we want to continue to make money with My Shopping Genie it's just like any other business we have to put effort into it.

Some My Shopping Genie updates:

We've been frustrated because the Genie app has NOT been available on i-phones. Some of our close friends signed up for this reason alone so it's not making us look good, and we don't like that.

We called the MyShoppingGenie support line today and the call was picked up by a live person Angel, that was very nice. I asked, when the heck is this Genie App going to be available on i-phones? She didn't have an answer so she took down my name and number and told me she would have someone call me back.

No more then 2 minutes later my phone rings and support let me know that they are working on it but didn't want to give me a tenative date… No they did not know that we are documenting EVERYTHING!

I then explained that My Shopping Genie has been issuing me checks but I wasn't exactly sure why and for what? She took my company ID number ant told me they'd call back and break it all down for me.

Just an FYI on our My Shopping Genie money. Our MyShopping Genie account showed a third commission paid in the amount of $196.

So right now MyShopping Genie has scheduled payment for us to the tune of $688.00

RED FLAG: Haven't received a check yet but according to the MyShopping Genie commission page the first check should be sent today.

That's it for today, still bummed about the MyShopping Genie i-phone app not being available yet.

Day 22 – Monday May 7, 2010

Ok, so after a very busy week in our primary business, we decided to cut the postings back to once or twice a week. If you came back here in the last day or so looking for fresh content, all we can say as of now is "we are sorry"! To avoid any unneeded trips over to our website you can just subscribe to our updates on the right hand side of this blog.

So… What's happened since Monday?

Our Effort: We spent a little time checking out the new myshopping genie app (genie 4.0); it's pretty cool looking. Check out a screen shot of what our new Genie looks like live.

Beyond having one conversation with (what seemed like) a great business partner and team member, we didn't lift a finger. In fact, we probably logged into our My Shopping Genie backoffice no more then two times this week.

When we did finally get around to log into MyShoppingGenie, here's what we found…

We had 2 new distributors since Monday, without effort... This is starting to feel pretty good!

Upon checking our Genie back office, we noticed our commissions doubled to $492.00!

This puts our business into the green by $292.00. (minus the cost of our hourly Social Media expert who handles all of our personal and business accounts)

Keep in mind, we never even heard of My Shopping Genie nor My Net Universe before the email that we received on Friday, April 16th 2010.

We are pretty excited because we seem to be getting paid from numerous different angles that we haven't taken the time to quite understand just yet. It just goes to show that you don't need to see the "whole staircase" to take the first step…

While we're on the topic of getting paid with my shopping genie, the one number thing that really stuck in my head was the average revenue per downloaded bar of $3 (which is expected to be close to $10 by the end of the year). That means if you ask one of your family members to download your free genie application (that's it, nothing else), you should earn about $3 per month *per average user stats.

We currently have 40 people who voluntarily downloaded our application from our My Shopping Genie Facebook Fan Page and our Shopping Genie Twitter Channel. Haven't quite hit up grandma yet .

40 X 3= $120 residual (on the low end) per month. Again, no super marketing techniques — most of these downloads came from a Facebook  Fan Page and Twitter. You can also see that our downloads are growing at a pretty steady and consistent rate.

Let's do a little more math shall we?

We went from absolutely nothing to 40 download in three weeks @ $3 profit per free application that we've given away…

In one year (52 weeks), we will have created passive income stream of $2079.60. This does not include the team building earnings we mentioned in the beginning of this post.

This is exactly what has us excited, because with a little focus, and helping the right people to be successful, this Shopping Genie App Business has amazing… AMAZING potential.

Day 18 – Monday May 3, 2010

The MyShoppingGenie website still looks the same and no word of the new download yet…

We did notice that our commissions appeared, here's what we've earned so far..

Not great, but definitely a start… and what's the deal with a $4.00 check charge? Seems a little high in our book…

It's important to note here that most of our commissions have not been calculated yet due to payroll lag, which is understandable.

We also gain 4 new distributors with absolutely zero effort because of our auto-fill program.

We now have a total of 32 distributors!

Day 17 – Sunday May 2, 2010

No sign of the new Genie application yet. We are a little disappointed but understand they have a sold out event in St Luis so they must be very busy.

No new sign ups today, no real effort to speak with anyone or promote it. Check back tomorrow, we hope to reveal the new Genie to you in all her glory tomorrow…

Day 16 – Saturday May 1, 2010

Today is the My Shopping Genie extravoganza! 

We are still anticipating the release of the brand new, more powerful application. Today, we also received word that My Shopping Genie will be releasing some new information at the event; there will be some changes to the compensation plan (pay plan) and some additional newsworthy information. Like everyone else in the business, we hope these changes are for the better and we will keep everyone posted as soon as we hear something new.

We do not have much more to discuss today in regards to our marketing efforts or anything pertaining to our Shopping Genie Business.

At the end of the day, we did have 2 new distributors added to our downline (from 2 different members already below us).
